In a nutshell
EasyTools was founded in Paris in 2019, building on the success of the OpenHeadend product, which was established in 2011. We were incubated at Telecom Paris.
Open Source
We are experts in troubleshooting and adapting products to your specific situation. This expertise stems from our deep involvement as founders and major contributors of the open-source projects we use—unlike our competitors, who simply integrate open-source software into their products.
After VLC…
We co-created VLC, one of the most-used open-source media players. The latest open-source project from EasyTools is Upipe:
- an innovative multimedia framework
- allows you to build complex and custom video-processing pipelines
- handling most of EasyTools functions based on pipelines
